Curriculum

Our program offers a variety of learning experiences that aim toward growth in all areas of development.
 
​Responsibility


In providing opportunities for sharing, taking turns, making friends, resolving conflicts, solving problems, helping other, recognizing and accepting others, cooperating on projects, and building self-esteem, social development is encouraged. We want children to develop responsibility for their own actions in self-help, health, safety, and interpersonal areas and to exercise appropriate independence.
 

​Self-Expression
​

Through verbal expressions of thoughts and feelings, decision-making, experience of rules and limits, understanding of kindness, justice, empathy, recognition and acceptance of emotions in other, emotional development is facilitated.

Creativity

​
Creativity and language development are encouraged by offering various materials and frequent experience in music, movement, art, dramatic play, cooking, science, storytelling, puppetry, problem-solving, and discussion. Cognitive or intellectual development is enhanced by widening the child’s experience in order to increase knowledge, basic concepts, and skills.

 

Motor Skills

Physical development of gross motor skills is encouraged through outdoor games and activities, while fine motor and visual-motor skills are facilitated through the use of blocks, puzzles, and other small objects.
